CHARLESTON, S.C., July 2 -- The South Carolina Sea Grant Consortium issued the following news release:
As part of an effort to understand the causes of a low dissolved oxygen event that resulted in an exceptionally high flounder catch in 2004, Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, or AUVs, will be deployed on July 9, 2008 in nearshore and offshore waters along the Myrtle Beach area of Long Bay, South Carolina.
