ALFRED, N.Y., Dec. 8 -- Alfred State College issued the following news release:
The Alfred State College wrestling team finished 4th in the team standings at the annual ASC Open. Sophomore Gallaway Longenecker (Manheim, PA) was the Pioneers lone weight class winner bringing home the championship at 133 lbs.
Longenecker improved to 13-2 on the season with his two victories. He downed Mike Capaboanco (Mercyhurst Unattached) 8-4 in the semifinals and then downed James . . .
