TEMPE, Ariz., May 21 -- Arizona State University issued the following press release:
When space shuttle Endeavor blasted off March 11, some tiny "astronauts" piggybacked onboard an experimental payload from ASU's Biodesign Institute.
The experiment, called "Microbial Drug Resistance Virulence" was part of the STS-123 space shuttle Endeavor mission. It advanced the research studies of Cheryl Nickerson, project leader and scientist in the institute . . .
