ROLLA, Mo., April 3 -- The Missouri University of Science and Technology issued the following news release:
Missouri S&T is selling signage that bears the university's former name - the University of Missouri-Rolla - on the online auction site eBay.
The university decided to sell the UMR signs after alumni expressed a desire to purchase them as memorabilia. Most of the signs were removed when the university changed its name to Missouri S&T on Jan. 1.
