COLUMBIA, Mo., Oct. 11 -- The University of Missouri issued the following news release:
The University of Missouri-Columbia's power plant will replace up to five percent of its coal supply this year with biomass consisting of wood chips, saving more than 7,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions in a single year.
