JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., July 30 -- The Missouri Department of Revenue issued the following news release:
Missouri's fifth annual "Back-to-School" sales tax holiday is set for this weekend August 1, 2, and 3. During this period, certain clothing, school supplies, personal computers, and software will be exempt from the state sales tax of 4.225 percent. In areas where local jurisdictions are also participating in the holiday, purchases will be exempt from both state and local . . .
