SPRINGFIELD, Missouri, April 24 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri issued the following news release on April 23, 2024: A Deepwater, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court today for fraudulently obtaining more than $500,000 in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
