WASHINGTON, April 19 -- The U.S. Department of Justice issued the following news release on April 18, 2024: The Justice Department's Tax Division filed a civil injunction suit today to permanently bar Nia Daniel and her tax return preparation business, Nia Help Service LLC, from preparing federal income tax returns for others. TAMPA, Florida, April 19 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida issued the following news release: U.S. District Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell has sentenced Richard Aldo Melendez (36, Wauchula) to 14 years in federal prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking ring.
