Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), Chair of the Joint Economic Committee, and U.S. Senator Ben Ray Lujan (D-N.M.) and U.S. Representative Teresa Leger Fernandez (D-N.M.) welcomed two federal grants totaling $2,550,000 for Santa Fe County from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

SANTA FE, New Mexico, April 18 -- Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, D-New Mexico, issued the following news release on April 17, 2024:
Today, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced she will call the New Mexico Legislature into a special session on Thursday, July 18 to take up additional public safety protections that New Mexicans demand.
