WARREN, Mich., Aug. 30 -- The U.S. Army has awarded a $30.78 million contract to General Dynamics Lands Systems Division, Sterling Heights, Mich., for procuring long lead material required to support 129 Third Armored Cavalry Regiment Abrams M1A2 system enhancement package.
The contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. Work will be performed in Anniston, Ala., Tallahassee, Fla., Lima, Ohio and Scranton, Pa. . . .
