Utah Inventors Develop Signal-to-Noise Ratio Estimation Method

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 3 -- Vaughn Lee Mower and Ryan Clark Beard, both of Bountiful, Utah, Roy Fletcher Lunsford of Syracuse, Utah, and Jeffrey Craig Wright of Woods Cross, Utah, have developed a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) estimation method.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method estimates a SNR of a received direct sequence spread spectrum signal. Using the estimated SNR, a control signal is determined that is suitable for modifying a position of a directiona . . .
