ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 3 -- Bing Chen of Westfield, N.J., and Wallace F. Smith, Jr. of Sea Girt, N.J., have developed a method of echo cancellation in communication networks.
According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "method of measuring echo path delay in a circuit having echo cancellers after enabling an echo signal to pass through the echo cancellers.
