ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 3 -- Laura A. Weller-Brophy of Pittsford, N.Y., Jayson J. Nelson of Webster, N.Y., Marek W. Kowarz of Henrietta, N.Y., John C. Brazas of Hilton, N.Y., and James G. Phalen of Rochester, N.Y., have developed a an unpolished optical element with periodic surface roughness.
