Public Asked to View Flood Maps in Llano County, Texas

DENTON, Texas, Jan. 17 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:

In four short months, Llano County, Texas will have final flood maps that show the most current flood risks, giving homeowners, renters and business owners the information they need to make informed decisions.

Local officials and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) expect the maps to become effective on May 2, 2012. I . . .
