BLACKVILLE, S.C., June 7 -- The South Carolina Department of Agriculture issued the following news release:

A Watermelon Field Day will be held at the Edisto Research and Education Center (EREC) in Blackville, SC on July 8. The field day will begin with registration at 8:45 a.m. in the EREC office complex and the indoor session will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the EREC auditorium.

Program Topics will include:
