WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 -- Rep. Eliot L. Engel, D-N.Y. (17th CD), issued the following news release:
The House, with Rep. Eliot Engel as a co-sponsor and voting yes, approved the Children's Health and Medicare Protection (CHAMP) Act, renewing medical insurance for 6 million low-income kids and funding it to cover an additional 5 million more.
