ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 8 -- Covidien, Switzerland, has been assigned a patent (7,988,651) developed by Gordon Cook, Hampshire, United Kingdom, and Graeme Follett, Hampshire, United Kingdom, for an "inflatable device for use in impulse therapy."
