ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 2 -- BASF, Ludwigshafen, Germany, has been assigned a patent (7,762,404) developed by five co-inventors for a "device for performing the purifying separation of crystals out of their suspension in a contaminated crystal melt." The co-inventors are Joerg Heilek, Bammental, Germany, Dieter Baumann, Walldorf, Germany, Bernd Eck, Viernheim, Germany, Ulrich Hammon, Mannheim, Germany, and Klaus Joachim Mueller-Engel, Stutensee, Germany.
