MONTGOMERY, Alabama, May 1 -- The Alabama Securities Commission issued the following news:
Governor Ivey declared April as "Basics on Saving and Investing Month," to promote the importance of saving and wise investing. In honor of this month's designation, the Alabama Securities Commission (ASC) presented financial literacy training at 22 events across the state reaching an estimated 1,350 Alabamians.
