ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 7 -- Astec Industries, Chattanooga, Tennessee, has been assigned a patent (No. 10,495,381, initially filed March 2, 2017) developed by two co-inventors for an "aggregate dryer with exhaust quenching system." The co-inventors are Michael Christopher Varner, East Ridge, Tennessee, and Ted Jonas Hope III, Rock Spring, Georgia.
