ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 15 -- ABT Holding, Cleveland, Ohio, and the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, have been assigned a patent (No. 10,226,485, initially filed March 21, 2005) developed by three co-inventors for "multipotent adult stem cells and methods for isolation." The co-inventors are Leo T. Furcht, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Catherine M. Verfaillie, St. Paul, Minnesota, and Morayma Reyes, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
