ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 19 -- Carnegie Institution of Washington, Washington, has been assigned a patent (No. 10,179,740, initially filed June 30, 2017) developed by three co-inventors for a "form of silicon and method of making the same." The co-inventors are Timothy A. Strobel, Washington, Duck Young Kim, Washington, and Oleksandr O. Kurakevych, Washington.
