ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- Amazon Technologies, Seattle, Washington, has been assigned a patent (No. 10,019,572, initially filed Aug. 27, 2015) developed by Nima Sharifi Mehr, Vancouver, Canada, for "detecting malicious activities by imported software packages."
