ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 20 -- 3M Innovative Properties, St. Paul, Minnesota, has been assigned a patent (No. 9,947,018, initially filed July 2, 2008) developed by two co-inventors for a "system and method for generating time-slot samples to which content may be assigned for measuring effects of the assigned content." The co-inventors are Brian E. Brooks, St. Paul, Minnesota, and Michael K. Canavan, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
