ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 27 -- Akron Polymer Systems, Akron, Ohio, and Sumitomo Bakelite, Shinagawa-ku, Japan, have been assigned a patent (9,873,763) developed by 11 co-inventors for a "solution of aromatic polyamide for manufacturing display element, optical element, illumination element or sensor element."
