WASHINGTON, July 8 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration is seeking public comment on a request to release 8.74 acres at Dare County Regional Airport in North Carolina from federal obligations.
The Dare County Airport Authority submitted the request on behalf of Dare County to allow redevelopment of the surplus property as a county public works facility without federal deed restrictions. The airport sponsor says the land is no longer needed . . .
