Plug Power Secures First NASA Contract, Enters Growing Space Industry Market

WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 -- Plug Power Inc., Slingerlands, New York, a global supplier of hydrogen solutions, has commenced its inaugural contract with NASA to provide a substantial quantity of liquid hydrogen for the agency's facilities in Ohio. The contract, valued at up to $2.8 million, covers the supply of up to 218,000 kilograms of liquid hydrogen to NASA's Glenn Research Center and the Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility.
