Australia University Researchers: Will More Preschool Hours Improve Child Development

WASHINGTON, Nov. 11 -- University of Adelaide Thriving Families SA and BetterStart co-leaders Associate Professor Rhiannon Pilkington and Professor John Lynch, along with the University of South Australia Professor Sally Brinkman, will lead a five-year research project to study the implementation and impacts of the South Australian government's expanded Preschool Plus program. This research will investigate the benefits of the program for children, parents, and providers.
