AKRON, Ohio, Sept. 27 -- Akron Community Foundation issued the following news release:
Akron Community Foundation's board recently announced grants totaling $2,461,000 and approved $563,000 in competitive civic affairs grants chosen by the foundation's Community Investment Committee.
Included in this round of civic affairs grants is the Akron Marathon, which was awarded $12,500 for enhancements like course modifications, digital improvements, and the ability to livestre . . .
