WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 -- Sen. Tim Scott, R-South Carolina, a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, issued the following news release on Oct. 26, 2021:
During a Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee executive session, HELP Committee Republicans pressed for public hearings and transparency on the nearly three-quarters of a trillion dollars the Committee has been tasked with spending through Democrats' partisan spending package.
