WASHINGTON, Sept. 17 -- The Federal Communications Commission issued the following news release:
At the request of the Department of Homeland Security, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has deactivated its Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS)/1 for the following areas affected by Hurricanes Ida and Nicholas:
Louisiana: Acadia, Ascension, Assumption, Avoyelles, . . .
