PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, Aug. 4 (TNSPol) -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Rhode Island issued the following news:
A habeas corpus petition filed today by ACLU of Rhode Island cooperating attorneys and the Public Defender argues that an inmate is unlawfully being held in prison despite a decision by the R.I. Parole Board to release him on supervised parole. This is the second time in two years the ACLU has had to go to court to address this ongoing and disturbing problem cre . . .
