DENVER, Colorado, April 13 -- The Colorado House Democrats issued the following news on behalf of Colorado State Rep. Judy Amabile, D-Boulder:
Today the House passed Representative Judy Amabile's bill to prohibit local jails from placing certain individuals, like people with serious mental health disorders or pregnant women, in solitary confinement. The bill passed third reading by a vote of X-X.
