SODDY-DAISY, Tennessee, April 13 -- The Tennessee Valley Authority issued the following news release:
The Tennessee Valley Authority's Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Unit 1 started a scheduled refueling and maintenance outage early Saturday morning after generating over 13.5 billion kilowatt-hours of carbon-free energy in 494 days of operation.
