AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 26 -- The Texas Democratic Party issued the following press document:
Texas is one of the worst-affected states with COVID-19 infections and deaths. As seen across the state and the country, people of color are bearing the brunt of casualties and disastrous economic effects.
While the disease did not create inequalities, it has certainly brought them to the forefront once again. In Texas, Blacks and Latinos are dying at higher rates than their share . . .
