LANSING, Michigan, Jan. 26 -- The Michigan Republican Party issued the following news on Jan. 25:
In a press conference today regarding the state's COVID response, Governor Whitmer dodged questions regarding the sudden resignation of the head of Michigan's Department of Health and Human Services, Robert Gordon. When pressed by reporters Kathy Gray and Rick Albin, Whitmer refused to indicate the circumstances surrounding the vacancy, including whether she asked him to resign.
