WASHINGTON, July 4 -- The U.S. Department of State issued the following statement on July 3 by Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo:
On behalf of the people of the United States, I extend our enduring support to the people of Venezuela, interim President Juan Guaido, and the democratically elected National Assembly as you commemorate the 209th anniversary of your independence on July 5.
