ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, July 2 -- The Chesapeake Bay Foundation issued the following news release:
The latest assessment of the Chesapeake Bay's blue crab population has determined that it is healthy, and no management changes are necessary. The Chesapeake Bay Stock Assessment Committee (CBSAC) meets annually to review the results of the Chesapeake Bay blue crab surveys and harvest data, and to develop management advice.
