WASHINGTON, May 30 -- The Catholic Health Association of the United States issued the following statement by President and CEO Sr. Mary Haddad:
"As a Catholic health ministry we affirm that each person is sacred and worthy of our deepest reverence. We are appalled by the recent killings of African Americans by law enforcement officials and vigilantes and acknowledge the deep grief and anger now being expressed.
