PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, April 2 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded $158,000 in grant funding to the District of Columbia Department of Energy and Environment through the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act (WIIN) to assist with identifying sources of lead in drinking water in schools and child care facilities.
