WASHINGTON, Jan. 24 -- The Federal Communications Commission issued the following statement on Jan. 22 by Chairman Ajit Pai on the deployment of Cellular Vehicle to Everything in Northern Virginia, which was announced by Audi, Qualcomm, and the Virginia Transportation Department:
The deployment will include warnings that automatically alert cars to upcoming work zones as well as SPaT (signal phase and timing), which enables cars to receive a countdown from a red light to a green lig . . .
