WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following article from The Economics Daily:
Real average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls increased 0.6 percent from December 2018 to December 2019. The change in real average hourly earnings combined with a 0.6-percent decrease in the average workweek resulted in essentially no change in real average weekly earnings over this period.
