BLS Issues Weekly Earnings of Wage, Salary Workers 4th Quarter 2019

WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following news release:
Median weekly earnings of the nation's 118.3 million full-time wage and salary workers were $936 in the fourth quarter of 2019 (not seasonally adjusted), the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. This was 4.0 percent higher than a year earlier, compared with a gain of 2.0 percent in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) over the same period.
