SILVER SPRING, Maryland, Jan. 18 -- Catholic Legal Immigration Network issued the following news release:
The federal government's decision Jan. 17 to extend Temporary Protected Status for Somalia for 18 months allows about 500 people protection from deportation but does nothing to help other Somalis who have arrived in the United States since 2012.
