DALLAS, Texas, Nov. 19 -- The Dallas Independent School District issued the following news release:
Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed Dallas ISD Trustee Edwin Flores to the Texas School Safety Center Board.
Flores will join seven other appointees on the board that reports to the governor, legislature, State Board of Education and Texas Education Agency regarding school safety and security.
