TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Aug. 24 -- Florida League of Cities issued the following news release, dated Aug. 21:
The Florida League of Cities presented Representative Ben Diamond with a 2019 Defender of Home Rule Award during its 93rd annual conference in Orlando this past weekend. Diamond was unable to attend the event, but he accepted the award and addressed the association and its members via video message.
