JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas, Aug. 23 -- The U.S. Air Force Air Education and Training Command issued the following news:
Second Lt. Isaac Perez will accept the 2019 Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award, presented by the NCAA at the U.S. Open Aug. 24, 2019.
Originally from San Antonio, Perez begins pilot training in January 2020 here as part of the Pilot Training Next version 3 cohort.
