WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 -- The Federal Election Commission issued the following news release:
The Federal Election Commission has appointed Neven F. Stipanovic as Associate General Counsel. Mr. Stipanovic, whose appointment became effective August 4, oversees the FEC's Policy Division, which counsels the Commission regarding advisory opinions, rulemakings, audits, and other matters requiring interpretation of federal campaign finance law.
