HONOLULU, Hawaii, June 24 -- Gov. David Ige, D-Hawaii, issued the following news release:
Gov. David Ige notified legislative leaders and key lawmakers of his Intent to Veto the following 20 measures. The Hawai'i State Constitution requires the governor to notify the Legislature of the bills he intends to veto no later than the 35th day after adjournment, which is June 24.
The governor must either sign or veto bills by July 9. If no action is taken on a bill it becomes . . .
