TRENTON, New Jersey, June 24 -- The New Jersey Assembly Democrats issued the following news:
Moving to further recognize New Jersey veterans for their service, legislation (A-5609) to double the existing gross income tax deduction for honorably discharged or released veterans from $3,000 to $6,000 received final legislative approval on Thursday, passing the Assembly 78-0 and Senate 38-0. The measure now goes to the Governor's desk.
